Karisma Kapoor can't wait for sister Kareena's marriage with Saif!
The entire nation is eagerly waiting for actress Kareena Kapoor's much-hyped royal wedding with the Chhote Nawaab Saif Ali Khan. But, apart from us, there is one more Bollywood persona and Bebo's family member, who is almost dying to witness Kareena's marriage!
Yes, we are talking about Bebo's dear sister Karisma Kapoor. When the press asked Karisma about Kareena's marriage with Saif, the former said that she can't wait any longer for Bebo's wedding. "I feel you should ask this to Kareena. She will get busy with the promotions of 'Heroine' soon, so you all can catch hold of her. All I can say is, of course, I am excited and it will be wonderful. Even I can't wait for Kareena's wedding any more," Karisma told IANS.
Kareena Kapoor's much-awaited wedding with boyfriend Saif Ali Khan has now become a national joke. While Saifu is playing around with the media over his wedding dates and venues, Kareena has expressed her disappointment over this entire hue and cry. Despite all this 'shaadi-drama', Saifeena's wedding plans remains a mystery to us.

IS Saif Ali Khan furious over Kareena Kapoor's onscreen intimacy with Arjun Rampal?
Is Saif Ali Khan furious over Kareena Kapoor's onscreen intimacy with Arjun Rampal?
It is a known fact that romancing on-screen for actors and actresses is merely their profession. Recently, actress Kareena Kapoor had to do some hot, bed scenes with co-star Arjun Rampal for Madhur Bhandarkar's film Heroine. But we cannot help but wonder how her beau Saif would have reacted since he had once mentioned that he hates Bebo getting intimate with any man onscreen.
We have already seen Heroine's trailer, that shows many intimate, love making scenes between Kareena and Arjun. Cherishing his love making scenes with Bebo, Arjun had recently said, "I can't get over the Kareena effect. I still cherish the love-making scenes. In fact, even today, when I close my eyes, I feel the moments when I'm in a mood."
On being further probed about Saif's comfort zone over such steamy scenes, Rampal told the daily, "Saif and I have mutual respect for each other. So no calls were made."
Now, we wonder if Saif was presumably insecure about his ladylove Bebo doing hot scenes with her male co-star in Heroine. In fact, sometime back, in a chat show, Saif had clearly stated that he feels like killing anyone who holds his girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor. He further admitted that he gets very upset watching Kareena make love to her male co-stars. So, was Saifu angry over such intimate scenes?

We have the filmmaker’s final word on the matter
A few weeks ago we told you that current brightest star of the box office Salman Khan was going to rescue Subhash Ghai’s inactive career, but soon news caught the wind that the Ek Tha Tiger had backed out of the big responsibility.
Before the chinwag turned into ugly speculation about Ghai and Khan’s kabhi dost kabhi dushman kinda bond, the 90s top director sprang into quick action. Thanks to the social networking world, Ghai announced on Twitter: “SALMAN KHAN I know can never lose his simplicity, and commitment once he gives to somebody, whatever the world may try to bend his mind.”
Before going any further, we have a question for Mr Ghai – did he tweet in…err…drunken state of mind? ‘Coz it doesn’t make great sense grammatically, and it seems the director attempted a bad translation of Sallu’s famous dialogue – ek bar jo maine commitment kar di, toh phir main aap ki bhi nahin sunta.
Later SG also tweeted that his film with Salman wasn’t going to be a romantic story, but an action thriller. Didn’t Sallu miyan change Sher Khan’s plot from an action flick to a love story ‘coz of health problems?
Anyway, whatever be the film’s genre, the Whistling Woods founder insists that the Salman starrer will see the light of day! As long as it isn’t boring and melodramatic like their last film together – remember Yuvraaj? – we don’t mind!

PRIYANKA CHOOPRA & KAREENA ARE MY SENIORS
Mumbai: Katrina Kaif today is no longer just a pretty face. She has proved her acting calibre in Rajneetiand now, Ek Tha Tiger. With ETT crossing the 100 crore mark at the Box Office, Kat is now one of the most bankable stars in the industry. But, when compared with her contemporaries like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, Katrina feels that they are way too ahead of her.
Katrina Kaif has so far acted in male oriented movies, where the heroine's role comes second after the male lead. But, her contemporaries like Kareena, Priyanka and Vidya Balan, have already made a stable position in the industry by choosing women oriented scripts. Talking to a leading website about the same, Katrina said, "Kareena and Priyanka are senior to me. They are way ahead of me."

Amitabh is one such star in the industry, who is highly learned and a knowledgeable persona, unlike many others. According to Mr Bachchan, his daughter Shweta Nanda is the most knowledgeable person in his family. Asked who among his family members have a strong general knowledge, he said, "My daughter Shweta." Shweta was married to businessman Nikhil Nanda in 1997 and is now based in Delhi.
Shweta is the elder sister of Abhishek Bachchan and the mother of two. She is the only Bachchan, who has not made it to the tinsel town as an actress. But the lady is popular for her good mannerisms and poised persona.

SALMAN & SHAHRUKH
The headline indeed sounds quite shocking, isn't it? It looks like our prayers have finally come true. Bollywood's two majestic stars - Shahrukh Khan andSalman Khan have finally decided to bury their pasthatchet by putting an end to their decade old rivalry.
During a latest interview with the Zoom TV, Salman Khan said that his enmity with SRK is over. In fact, he was quite happy that his ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif isworking with Shahrukh for the first time. What was more surprising, that Sallu was all praise for the Baadshah. "I'm sure Shahrukh's chemistry with Katrina will be great in their upcoming Yash Raj film, after all it is a romantic movie. Shahrukh Khan takes immense amount of intensity in his work, he takes his work very seriously. He is very competent and a spontaneous actor. I'm sure he'll make Katrina feel very comfortable in the movie," he said.
A while ago, Shahrukh had said that Salman and Katrina Kaif make a great onscreen pair. It looks like things are slowly and gradually falling into place between these two Khans. Well, whatever might be the reason behind this miracle, we want the duo hand in hand as friends again.

Critic Joginder Tuteja felt that none of the songs "puts you off", but still emphasized that "one expected it to have gone all the way further up". He gave it 3.5 stars out of 5.[27] Contrarily, theIndo-Asian News Service rated the album 4 stars and claimed that the audio "offers the listener the romantic and action flavour of the movie", calling it "an entertaining affair with an array of sounds for music lovers." However, the song 'Banjaara' was noted as a "an ordinary composition with overtly simple lyrics."[28] Devesh Sharma of the Filmfare magazine felt that the album had a "situational feel" and was a "tad disappointing" as compared to the "pulsating music" in Khan's previous films. He rated it 4 stars.[29]

ASIN "NO NEED OF 100 CRORES
"No need to look at others in 100 crore club" - Asin
It is an unbelievable run for Asin; in fact too good to be true. She now has scored a hat trick of 100 crore hits with 'Bol Bachchan' being the latest entrant.
While this also follows 'Housefull 2' and 'Ready', it also adds on to the pile of centuries that Asin has been gathering ever since she made her Bollywood debut with 'Ghajini'. With 'London Dreams' as her only flop and a 80% success rate, Asin is finding herself in an enviable position.
So much so that she is now also neck to neck with Kareena Kapoor who also has four 100 crore films (Ra, One, Bodyguard, Golmaal 3, 3 Idiots) to her name.
"Honestly, I don't think there is really need to look at who else is there in the 100 crore club.
All of that is academic because there is no point pitting actors as competitors based on the collections of their films", says Asin with a straight face, "I basically look at films that I am doing and whether I am enjoying working in them or not.
I don't have any inclination to look at numbers amassed by other films and their actors.
I am happy in my space, thankfully my track record is good and I have to beat my own records.
That itself would be good enough for me."
Well, with Katrina Kaif's 'Ek Tha Tiger' releasing this week and all set to propel the actress in the 100 crore club, it would be interesting to see how Kareena and Asin find themselves challenged in months to come.
Sridevi minds her language in English Vinglish
Sridevi, the original queen bee of Bollywood, is back. Yesterday was doubly special for the veteran actress, as it was her 49th birthday and the trailer of her comeback movie English Vinglish was also launched on the same day.
Sridevi's family - husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Jhanvi and Khushi - were there to lend their support to the diva at the launch party last night in Mumbai.
One look at the trailer brings back memories of the Sridevi who used to light up the silver screen with her smile.
English Vinglish is the directorial debut of Gauri Shinde, wife of Paa director R Balki. The movie is the story of a housewife, her struggle with the English language and the insecurities she faces because of it.
Gauri Shinde said, "This film is inspired by my mom. Like most people in India struggle with this language, it's just the insensitivity and insecurity that made me do this film."
Asked how she managed to cast Sridevi in her debut film, Ms Shinde said: "While writing the script, I did not think of anyone. When Balki met Boney and Sridevi, they asked him what was he doing at that time. Balki mentioned about me writing a script. Sridevi liked the subject and I narrated the script to her and it just happened."
The film will also be premiered at the 37th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and the actress has decided to wear a sari specially designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Sabyasachi has styled the actress in the film as well. She looks simple yet stunning in Sabya's printed saris.
Sridevi's big screen comeback English Vinglish will make its world premiere at the 37th Toronto international film festival along with Mira Nair's Reluctant Fundamentalist and Deepa Mehta's Midnight's Children.
Directed by debutante Gauri Shinde, the film marks Sridevi's return to the screen after fifteen-year. It is a funny and touching story about an Indian woman who struggles to learn the English to help provide for her family.
Produced by R Balki and also starring French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain and Priya Anand, the film releases on September 21.
TIIF will have some 10 films from Mumbai as part of its 'City-to-City' program. The Maximum City is in focus this year.
Filmmaker Deepa Mehta is returning to the festival with her ambitious big screen adaptation of Salman Rushdie's Booker-prize-winning novel Midnight's Children.
"It's official now: the film of Midnight's Children will be at the Toronto International Film festival, special Gala Screening. So delighted!," Rushdie tweeted.
The author, who has closely worked with Mehta to bring the book on the big screen, said he is proud of the film. "To answer many of you: I wrote the Midnight's Children screenplay, worked very closely with director Deepa Mehta, and am proud of the film," he wrote.
The film stars Satya Bhabha, Shahana Goswami, Rajat Kapoor, Seema Biswas, Shriya Saran, Siddharth , Ronit Roy, Rahul Bose, Anita Majumdar, Zaib Shaikh and Anupam Kher.
Nair's Reluctant Fundamentalist, the opening film at Venice international film festival, will also have its gala screening at TIFF.
Based on Pakistani author Mohsin Hamid's novel of the same name, Reluctant Fundamentalist stars Kate Hudson, Kiefer Sutherland, Liev Schreiber, Nelsan Ellis, Riz Ahmed.
TIFF announced the first list of films which will include 17 Gala screenings, 45 in Special Presentations programme and 38 world premieres.
